Florida Grand Opera

Welcome to the 85th season of Florida Grand Opera, a landmark year celebrating FGO's extraordinary legacy and an exciting future. The 2026-27 season features three unforgettable operas, each selected to inspire, surprise and move you.

This season carries special meaning. Lucia di Lammermoor marks a defining moment in FGO's history, as it was the opera in which Luciano Pavarotti made his American debut in South Florida. Don Giovanni remains one of the most groundbreaking works ever written. It is revolutionary in its blending of comedy and tragedy, and a cornerstone of the operatic canon. Presented during Passover and Easter, Nabucco offers profound themes of perseverance, liberation and hope that resonate across cultures and generations.

All performances will be sung in Italian with English- and Spanish-projected translations.
