Synopsis
Yissy García doesn’t just play the drums—she transforms them. Her music is a dialogue between tradition and modernity that mixes jazz, electronica, funk, R&B and Afro-Cuban rhythms. Since 2012, she has led the quintet Yissy & Bandancha, who will make their Live on the Plaza debut with a set of original music, Cuban son, jazz and hip-hop.
