Arsht for Miami Journey to Dia de Muertos

Through folk songs, classical music and dance, Calpulli Mexican Dance Company’s Dia de los Muertos tells a love story that spans the boundary between the living and the dead. A loving couple, Lupita and Raul, fall victim to treachery and are separated, seemingly forever. Lupita then enters Mictlán, the underworld of Aztec mythology, where the mesmerizing Catrina reigns as queen.

Join us for this educational journey for all ages and learn about the history and traditions of Dia de Muertos.

Admission to this performance is pay what you can. However, first-access passes are required.

Please note: First-access passes expire 15 minutes prior to the performance. First-access passes must be obtained for every member of your party regardless of age. There is a limit of six passes per household. Admission is first come, first served.

Select Arsht Impact performances are offered as Pay What You Can. Tickets are free, and guests are invited to contribute the suggested $20 ticket price (or more) to help sustain live arts experiences in Miami.
