Barbara Bonilla (Aleida) is delighted to be making her City Theatre debut!  A proud Cuban American born and raised in New York, Bonilla is a veteran of stage, film and television. Theatre: On Your Feet (Riverside), El Huracan (Gablestage), Sweet Goats and Blueberry Senoritas (Actors’ Playhouse), Savannah Sipping Society (Empire Stage). Off-Broadway: You’ve Got Hate Mail (Traid, New York), Real Women Have Curves (Gala, Washington, D.C.) and Pulitzer Prize-winning play Anna in the Tropics (Barrington Stage, Massachusetts). Film: Reminiscence and iMordecai. TV: Law & Order: SVU, The Sopranos, Unsolved Mysteries and The Tonight Show. This performance is dedicated to her husband, Bob, “her rock,” mami, “the OG” Aleida and Abuela Estela, a professional actress in Havana, Cuba (1935-1955). Many thanks to Margaret, Gladys, Chris, cast and crew, City Theatre, Adrienne Arsht Center and Miami for promoting Latine-themed plays that continue to hear our voices.

Randy García (Carlos) is a first-generation Cuban-American, born and raised in this Magic City. He considers himself privileged to be working as an artist in this vibrant community alongside some of South Florida’s finest talents. Most of García's appearances have come via the world of local theater, but he continues to pursue music, voice-over work and commercial and film acting, as well as sketch comedy and improv. Fun fact: He has also been a proud member of the Adrienne Arsht Center's box office team since 2013! His favorite pastimes include spending quality time with loved ones, eating, cooking, traveling and watching countless hours of YouTube content! Randy would like to thank Margaret Ledford and Gladys Ramirez for this opportunity. Kaelyn A. Gonzalez (Carmen) After graduating from the Acting Conservatory at SUNY Purchase with a BFA, Gonzalez has planted her roots in Miami, New York and Los Angeles. Her TV and film credits include Peter Lee’s Angelfish, NBC’s The Blacklist and short film Pie Mojado. Her theater credits include The Impossible Task of Today at Theatre Lab @ FAU, Lincoln Road Hustle at Miami New Drama, The Cancellation of Lauren Fein at Palm Beach Dramaworks, Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story at The Argyle Theatre and Lenoble at INTAR Theatre. Gonzalez made her directorial debut with Las Yumas at The Players Theatre. She was recently awarded Best Actress at the UM Canes Film Festival. Andy Quiroga (Francisco) is a Miami-based actor and theater educator whose work spans stage and screen. Television appearances include Burn Notice (2011), Graceland (2014) and the feature film A Name Without a Place (2019). Onstage, he is widely recognized for his Miami New Times 2015 Best Actor award for Frankie and Johnny in the Clair de Lune at Alliance Theatre Lab. Other memorable performances include Simon Stimson in New Drama’s Our Town, Frenchy Cabazon in The Promethean Theatre’s Cannibal the Musical, as well as acclaimed roles in Paradise Motel and Off Center of Nowhere. In addition to his acting career, Quiroga serves as Associate Professor in Theatre at Miami Dade College’s North Campus, where he is also the Producing Artistic Director of The Pen Players and former Chair of the Arts & Philosophy Department. Franco Kiglies (Tony) is a 13-year-old dynamo, captivating audiences with his comedic flair and natural talent. Trained in on-camera acting, Broadway musical theater, singing, voice-over and dubbing, he recently impressed as Noah in Caroline, or Change. He also played Edmund in Narnia the Musical and George in Stuart Little the Musical. Beyond the stage, Kiglies has left his mark onscreen, starring in National Geographic's Shark Attacks on Disney Plus. He's also lent his voice to Netflix's Cry Babies, sang “Baby Shark” for Masha and The Bear, and played a pivotal role in the Japanese film Monster, dubbing the main boy's (Minato) Japanese character into English. Kiglies also enchanted audiences in Florida Grand Opera's production of La bohème. Additionally, he has modeled for Disney and numerous other brands in print and video commercials. Based in Miami, he balances his artistic pursuits with a love for tennis, drawing comics and ninja warrior training, and is diligently honing his dance skills. Aspiring to one day portray Spider-Man as an adult, Kiglies can be found on Instagram at @FrancoActs.

Chris Anthony Ferrer (Playwright) is a proud first-generation American of Cuban descent whose family immigrated to Miami in the late 1960s. In May 2022, Ferrer had his professional playwriting debut at Aurora Theatre in Lawrenceville, Georgia with his farce Swindlers. Ferrer is currently a resident playwright with City Theatre in Miami and a member of the City Theatre Homegrown Cohort. He is also a member of The Dramatists Guild of America. Ferrer earned a BFA from New World School of the Arts in Miami.
