Hosted directly on the Arsht Ziff Ballet Opera House stage, CommuniTEA Dance is a free event honoring South Florida’s vibrant LGBTQ+ community with a dazzling celebration. From 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., guests will be immersed in a high-energy blowout headlined by Alyssa Edwards (@alyssaedwards_1), the internationally acclaimed drag superstar and breakout fan-favorite from RuPaul’s Drag Race, winner of RuPaul’s Drag Race Global All Stars and star of Netflix’s “Dancing Queen,” known for her larger-than-life personality, sharp wit and iconic dance performances.

Guiding the celebration with her signature charisma, FayWhat?! (@faywhatt) returns as host, bringing humor and heart to this vibrant, pride-filled event. The evening will feature show-stopping performances by Miami drag artists Lady Paraiso (@ladyparaiso), Miami New Times Best Drag Performer 2025 Jellika Boom (@jellikaboom), Roxie Stones and LA the King (@la_theking1), along with dynamic dance performances by Anthony Velazquez (@ant_dancelife) and music by DJ Zac Mantha (@zachariemw), a Miami-based DJ known for high-energy sets that blend house, pop and dancefloor favorites.

Lady Paraiso is no stranger to the Arsht stage, having previously performed in Pioneer Winter’s Birds of Paradise, presented by the Arsht in 2021. Anthony Velazquez, a former Arsht AileyCamp Miami instructor, gained international recognition after winning a global fan video challenge inspired by Lady Gaga’s “Abracadabra,” part of a viral initiative celebrating her fans, and will perform the iconic choreography live during the event.

In addition to the performances and dance party, all guests are welcomed to explore the event’s Pride Marketplace which spotlights local LGBTQ+ and ally organizations, artisans, creatives and small businesses. Food and drink specials provided by Constellation Culinary will be available for purchase.

CommuniTEA Dance is presented by the Arsht with support from the Greater Miami Convention and Visitors Bureau.

Detailed artist bios can be found on the event webpage at ArshtCenter.org.
