QUINCE CON ARSHT

Miami teens invited to take their Quince portraits for FREE at the Center as part of its ongoing year-long 15th birthday celebration

Miami, FL – December 15, 2021 – Calling all 15-year-olds! Young people across South Florida celebrating their quinces in 2021 and 2022 are cordially invited to make memories at the Arsht Center (@arshtcenter) as it continues celebrating its 15th birthday, or “auinceañera” as they’re affectionately calling it in a nod to Miami’s Latin culture.

Throughout the Arsht Center's 15th season, Miami’s home for the performing arts is opening its doors to the community for quince portraits – completely free of charge! Beginning this January, young people of all genders interested in having an arts-inspired quince photo shoot at the Center will have the opportunity to choose from one of the Center's most beautiful locations on its campus, including spaces in the Ziff Ballet Opera House and Knight Concert Hall. Access and use of the Arsht Center spaces is completely free of charge.

The Arsht Center is also offering assistance with special outfits for the photo shoot available to all Miami-Dade County Public School (MDCPS) students in need via MDCPS’ Prom Boutique. To connect with our partners at Prom Boutique, please email communityengagement@arshtcenter.org.

For more information and to register, please visit arshtcenter.org.

QUINCE CON ARSHT is one of more than 10 ongoing Arsht Center programs committed to community engagement and deepening the experience of the performing arts for all Miami-Dade County residents.
