Para celebrar el 25 aniversario de su compañía de danza, Sara Baras rinde homenaje al virtuoso de la guitarra flamenca Paco de Lucía.
En este festival anual, Sara Baras dirigirá a 13 músicos y bailarines en Vuela, un viaje coreográfico de 15 piezas en cuatro actos que giran en torno a una palabra diferente: madera, mar, muerte y volar. Célebre por su veloz zapateado, sus intrincados movimientos de manos, brazos y cuerpo, así como por su cautivadora presencia escénica y coreografía, Baras es conocida por ser "una mujer capaz de bailar no sólo una tormenta flamenca, sino un huracán" (The Guardian).
To celebrate the 25th anniversary of her dance company, Sara Baras pays tribute to flamenco guitar virtuoso Paco de Lucía.
At this annual festival, Sara Baras will lead 13 musicians and dancers in Vuela, a choreographic journey of 15 pieces across four acts that revolve around a different word: wood, sea, death and fly. Celebrated for her lightning-fast footwork, intricate hand, arm and body movements, as well as her captivating stage presence and choreography, Baras is known for being “a woman who can dance up not just a flamenco storm but a hurricane” (The Guardian).
