Join us Thursday, March 14 for a preshow celebration of the music and themes of Hamilton with libations, lectures and lyrics!

Beginning at 6:30 p.m. in the Peacock Foundation Studio, learn about the influence of hip-hop in the show with a captivating lecture by Wayne Bumpers, an esteemed music professor at Miami-Dade College, followed by a Q and A with a member of the cast.

Enjoy live music at 7 p.m. on the Thomson Plaza for the Arts by New Canon Chamber Collective, a South Florida ensemble featuring Black musicians from a spectrum of classical arts.

Plus, grab a sample of Freedom Ale from Biscayne Bay Brewery and raise a glass to freedom during the national anthem and color guard presentation.

Admission is free with a ticket to that evening's performance of Hamilton.
