Theater Up Close The Inheritance, Part 1

Alex Weisman (Eric Glass) returns to Zoetic Stage, where he appeared in the world premiere of Michael McKeever's American Rhapsody, earning a Carbonell nomination. His Broadway credits include Harry Potter and the Cursed Child (OBC). Recent credits include Shrew (Court Theater), Prayer for the French Republic (Northlight/Theater Wit), An Act of God (Paramount), Birthday Candles (Chautauqua) and Dial M for Murder (Milwaukee Rep), as well as work at Goodman, Lookingglass, Chicago Shakespeare, Victory Gardens, AboutFace and TimeLine, among others. He is a two-time Joseph Jefferson Award winner for The History Boys and Hand to God. On television, he has played “Frank” on Sesame Street (GLAAD New Media Award) and for five years appeared as “Chout” on NBC’s Chicago Fire/Med/P.D. His other creditsinclude Ted Lasso, New Amsterdam, Empire, Living With Yourself, Inventing Anna, White House Plumbers and American Crime Story. His film credits include A Complete Unknown, An Acceptable Loss, Black Box, Your Monster and Another Happy Day. Anthony Michael Martinez (Toby Darling) is proud to make his Zoetic Stage debut in The Inheritance, Part 1! He is a New York-based actor and teaching artist. His off-Broadway credits include Classic Stage Co., 59E59, Vineyard Theatre, New Ohio, The Flea, Theatre Row. Regional credits include Westport Country Playhouse, Theater at Monmouth, Great Lakes Theatre, Idaho & Lake Tahoe Shakespeare, Oregon Shakespeare Festival, Bay Street Theater, Alabama Shakespeare, Folger Theater, Illinois Shakespeare, Triad Stage, Miami New Drama, Florida Rep., Shakespeare Theatre NJ. His film and TV credits include After Forever (Amazon Prime). He will appear off-Broadway in Red Bull Theatre Company’s Titus Andronicus starring Patrick Paige! He received his MFA from the Shakespeare Theatre Company’s Academy for Classical Acting in Washington, D.C. Michael McKeever (Morgan/Walter) has appeared on stages throughout South Florida, including Zoetic Stage, GableStage, Palm Beach Dramaworks, The Foundry, Actors’ Playhouse, Miami New Drama, West Boca Theatre Company and Island City Stage, where his performance in Dan Clancy's The Timekeepers won him the Carbonell Award for Best Actor in a Play. He is also a multi award-winning playwright and designer, whose 40 full-length plays have been produced at theaters around the world. His plays Mr. Parker, After and Daniel’s Husband have enjoyed successful runs Off-Broadway, where Daniel’s Husband was nominated for an Off-Broadway Alliance Award for Best New Work. This season, his plays The Code and Daniel's Husband have both enjoyed extremely successful runs in London. McKeever has won numerous Carbonell and Silver Palm Awards, and is a recipient of the prestigious George Abbott Award for outstanding artistic achievement. He is a proud co-founder of Zoetic Stage.

Tom Wahl (Henry Wilcox) is thrilled to be back at Zoetic Stage having appeared here previously in Moscow, After and I Am My Own Wife.  Tom has also performed at The Kennedy Center, Geva Theatre Center, Blumenthal Performing Arts Center, Flat Rock Playhouse and Blowing Rock Stage Company.  In Florida, he has performed at Palm Beach Dramaworks, GableStage, City Theatre, Miami New Drama, The Foundry, Island City Stage, The Vanguard, Red Barn Theatre, Waterfront Playhouse, Caldwell Theatre, Florida Stage, Mosaic Theatre and most recently as The Visitor in The Spitfire Grill at Actors Playhouse. His film and TV credits include Pulse, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, New in Town with Renee Zellweger, Ace Ventura, Plato’s Run, Big City Blues and a recurring guest star as Hunt Pelham on ABC’s Moon Over Miami.  Tom is a recipient of Carbonell, Silver Palm and Curtain Up awards, and is a 35-year union member of Actors’ Equity Association and SAG-AFTRA.

Aidan Paul (Young Man #1/ Adam McDowell/Leo) is delighted to return to Zoetic Stage for The Inheritance, a profoundly meaningful work to him. While away from acting, he has explored circus arts, burlesque and music production. His original music is available on all streaming platforms. His credits include Hairspray (Link), Cabaret (Bobby) and Assassins with Zoetic Stage (Billy). Imran Hylton (Jason #1/Young Man 2) is thrilled to be returning to Zoetic Stage in a South Florida first-seen production of The Inheritance. Hylton is a BFA musical theater graduate and summa cum laude award recipient from the University of Florida and New World School of the Arts. His performance credits include his Carbonell Award-winning performance (Best Supporting Actor In a Musical) in Area Stage Company’s production of Beauty and the Beast (Maurice/ Madame), Annie (Miss Hannigan), Cabaret (Bobby) and the world premiere of Broadway musical A Wonderful World (Banjo Ben) directed by Tony Award nominee Christopher Renshaw. Sam Lantz (Charles Wilcox) grew up in Idaho, where he first found his love for acting in high school theater. What started as a fun creative outlet quickly became a true passion. He was a contestant on Netflix’s Squid Game: The Challenge, an experience that pushed him outside his comfort zone and taught him a lot about himself. Since then, Sam has appeared in two stage productions—PreP’d and Happy Ending—where he continued developing his voice and presence as an actor. He’s excited to be joining Zoetic Stage for The Inheritance, a show that means a lot to him both personally and artistically. Sam is drawn to stories that feel honest and human, and he’s always looking to grow through the work. Whether onstage or onscreen, he aims to bring openness, truth, and a little heart to every role.

Larry Toyter (Young Man #7/Jasper/Paul Wilcox) is thrilled to make his Zoetic Stage debut in The Inheritance, a play that changed his life when he first experienced it on Broadway. His recent credits include Dames at Sea (Lucky, Florida Studio Theatre), Frozen (King Agnarr, Maltz Jupiter Theatre) and The Wizard of Oz (Scarecrow, Riverside Center for the Performing Arts). He has also appeared in productions with North Carolina Theatre, The Wick Theatre, LPAC and Slow Burn Theatre Co. Angel Dominguez (Jason #2) is a Miami native who is thrilled to continue his work on South Florida stages after years performing and training in New York. Theater credits include Disgraced at GableStage, Men's Retreat and Peores las Demás. Angel trained at The Barrow Group in New York and holds a double major in theater and music from Florida State University. He is grateful to his mentors, his family and his Miami and NYC artistic communities for their continued support.

Randall Swinton (Tristan) is excited to be making his Zoetic Stage debut in The Inheritance, Part 1. He was last seen onstage performing as Pat in Theatre Lab’s premiere of Heebie Jeebies: Tales From the Midnight Campfire. Some of his favorite acting credits include Shrek the Musical (Slow Burn Theatre), Guys and Dolls (MNM Theatre), Luna Gale (Boca Stage) and One in Two (Island City Stage), for which he was nominated for a Carbonell Award for Outstanding Performance by an Actor in a Lead Male Role. When Randall is not acting or stage managing, he works as a substitute teacher for Broward County Public Schools. When he’s not teaching, he works as a server at Milk Money Bar & Kitchen, and when he’s not doing ANY of the above, he’s probably reading comic books and eating ice cream.
