VERDI Requiem

Verdi’s Requiem is a powerful tribute to life eternal. Best known for the fateful drum strikes in its iconic "Dies Irae," Verdi’s dramatic tour de force offers a breathtaking journey through the stages of grief, ending in peaceful consolation. Music director Franz Welser-Möst and The Cleveland Orchestra Chorus are joined by an elite lineup of soloists for this transcendent work.
