On February 1, the Miami Symphony Orchestra presents Latin American Soundscapes at the Knight Concert Hall, an exhilarating celebration of the region’s rich musical heritage. Led by Maestro Eduardo Marturet, the evening features captivating performances by electric bass virtuoso Rodner Padilla and pianist Juan Diego Molina, blending beloved classics with exciting premieres that showcase the vibrant spirit and cultural depth of Latin America: Jarro Mocho, a U.S. premiere by Federico Vollmer and arranged by Eduardo Marturet; the world premiere of Rosa Prima by Dr. Santiago Bonora; and favorites such as Márquez's Danzón No. 2.
