On March 8, Miami Symphony Orchestra presents American Promise at the Knight Concert Hall. The concert is inspired by the moving work of composer Karen LeFrak, in celebration of the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence. Led by Maestro Eduardo Marturet, this concert celebrates the spirit of American creativity through a dynamic blend of new compositions and timeless orchestral works, capturing the optimism, diversity and evolving identity of the nation’s musical voice.

The evening also features the world premiere of Marcos Campos's An American in Miami, a vibrant work whole title carries an implicit sense of humor, playfully nodding to the city's character.
