Drawing inspiration from Quentin Tarantino, David Lynch and Ennio Morricone, the band's sound has been described as “mod exotica,” “surf noir” and “shoegaze Americana.” Led by guitarist and composer Russell Mofsky, the group bend familiar sounds into something fresh, hypnotic and cinematic.

Mofsky’s sonic world is a mashup of surfboards, tube amps and vintage TV sets—where Miles Davis and Sonic Youth share shelf space with Debussy, and '60s B-movie posters hang next to Brooklyn bar fliers. It’s a place where spaghetti westerns meet noir jazz, and tiki-lounge tremolo gives way to desert reverb.
