Whiplash in Concert is part of the 2026 Miami Film Festival, taking place April 9-22.

Relive the 2014 Academy Award-winning film Whiplash, starring Miles Teller and J.K. Simmons, written and directed by Damien Chazelle, in a mesmerizing live concert experience conducted by Justin Hurwitz.

Whiplash tells the story of an ambitious young drummer studying at an elite conservatory and the ruthless instructor who pushes him to the brink in the pursuit of greatness.

The show features an 18-piece jazz big band that includes world-class drummer Greyson Nekrutman. Experience great music and thrilling drum solos performed live along with the film!
