Peter London Global Dance Company: The Oneness

The Peter London Global Dance Company's 14th season promises to be the 2025 highlight of contemporary dance in South Florida. ONENESS, the program's title, is profoundly current, and celebrates the vibrancy and fervor of the moment.

This extraordinary program features some of the most powerful creatives of our time. Artists choreographing and performing world premieres include Jamar Roberts, a sought-after African American choreographer and former Alvin Ailey star; Lloyd Knight, a 20-year principal dancer of the Martha Graham Dance Company and an internationally renowned model and choreographer; and Herne Jean-Baptiste , Miami native and dancer with Jamal Jackson Dance Company in New York performs his new solo "RESILIENT 1865."

Peter London created a solo entitled JOURNEY HOME for former Alvin Ailey II dancer and Miami native Annellyse Munroe with music by the illustrious and world renowned jazz pianist and composer Jason Moran, and an ensemble work THE WATER IN US - THE EVERGLADES. Justin Rapaport, a former artist with Ballet BC, Vancouver, Canada and winner of the Danish Theater Award at the 2021 Copenhagen International Choreographic Competition, will present a world premiere duet. Miguel Quinones III, co-founder and associate artistic director at Open Category Dance Company in Philadelphia and a former artist with Parson's Dance Company, will also present a world premiere.

The season will also include Brooke Skye's formidable and beguiling work A KINDRED BLOOM OF PETAL AND ROOT and a new company production of Jamar Roberts' 2017 piece A FOLK'S TALE and 2023's AS AN OFFERING, with a score by Etienne Charles. The spectacular and high octane season will close with London's KAISO BACCHANAL, a safari of spirited Caribbean carnival dances.
