Synopsis
During the current lapse of appropriations, all military community activities are canceled until a continuing resolution, or annual appropriations are passed by Congress and signed into law. Community outreach activities include military band performances and all travel in support of such events. As a result, the U.S. Army Field Band & Soldiers’ Chorus concert on November 5 at 7:30 p.m. is canceled.
The Concert Band & Soldiers' Chorus are the oldest and largest ensembles of The U.S. Army Field Band, founded in 1946 and 1957, respectively. They have performed in all 50 states and in 30 countries before hundreds of millions of people. The 60-member Concert Band and 29-member Soldiers' Chorus showcase a wide range of musical styles, from classical to opera, jazz and Broadway. They frequently perform in renowned concert halls as well as in small community venues, and have shared stages with major orchestras such as the Boston Pops and the National Symphony Orchestra. Beyond touring, they participate in formal ceremonies, including presidential inaugurations and diplomatic events, representing the Army with pride and versatility. Through performances across the United States, they foster a positive relationship with communities and inspire future generations to serve.
Admission to this performance is free. However, first-access passes are required.
Please note: First-access passes expire 15 minutes prior to the performance. First-access passes must be obtained for every member of your party regardless of age. There is a limit of six passes per household. Guests will be let in on a first-come, first-served basis as seats become available.
