The Arsht Center's Heritage Committee is proud to present its inaugural Juneteenth Juke Joint! The joint will start with a dope mix of music from the African Diaspora by the incomparable DJ Nickymix, followed by soulful sounds from Miami native and R&B singer LaVie, whose performance will take you through a dynamic voyage of Black music. The event will also feature poet Mo Beasley, producer of New York’s UrbanErotika series. Arrive when doors open to enjoy a specially curated menu featuring delicious soul food-inspired bites and libations.
