Get ready for a night of electrifying performances, celebrating the magic and cultural pulse of the '80s while showcasing the incredible talent that defines the Adrienne Arsht Center’s mission. 

Enjoy DJs spinning the best '80s hits and dance tracks; Voguers, Breakdancers and '80s Celebrity Look-Alikes; a special performance from our Arsht Impact program participants; and The Legends, an 11-piece band will take you on a musical journey through your favorite hits from the ’80s!

Long-time arts administrator by day, old-school DJ by night, Esther Park (a.k.a. DJ Esta) is a bit difficult to label. Alongside her 20+ years working in arts non-profit, Esther is an active music journalist since 1995. She has also DJed multiple fundraisers and Galas at institutions like MASS MoCA, Anderson Ranch, Frieze LA, etc.

8:30 PM | Program

  • Join us in celebrating three remarkable leaders in the arts at our 2nd Annual award ceremony, where we'll honor the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation, Rosie Gordon-Wallace and Lilia Garcia for their profound contributions that have shaped and enriched our cultural landscape.
  • In addition to paying tribute to these arts trailblazers, we’ll share a transformational journey through the eyes of a special participant from Arsht Impact community and engagement programs. Experience their story firsthand and celebrate the profound impact these initiatives have had on their life and our community.
