The Adrienne Arsht Center’s Department of Education and Community Engagement is seeking qualified volunteer judges (adjudicators) for the annual Arsht High School Musical Theater Awards Program. Qualified candidates should have theatrical experience onstage, backstage or in the field of theater education. Accepted adjudication volunteers must be willing to commit to the following:
- Attend a mandatory training session
- Attend three mandatory adjudication meetings throughout the year
- Attend all shows assigned to them (viewing schedule created based on adjudicator’s availability and known conflicts)
- Fill out an adjudication evaluation after every performance (no later than one week after seeing the show)
- Receive and respond to all communications with Arsht program staff in a timely fashion
Requirements are subject to change. Applications can be accepted year-round, and you will be notified by Arsht staff if you are selected as an adjudicator for the upcoming school year.
