To celebrate the 25th anniversary of her dance company, Sara Baras pays tribute to guitar genius par excellence Paco de Lucía. Conceived from the respect, affection and love both artists shared, Vuela is a show created to become unforgettable and to once again take us to the magical world that only Baras can create.

Facing the responsibility of paying tribute to the genius of Algeciras, Spain, this choreographic journey is composed of 15 pieces, each revolving around a specific word, thus creating a flamenco language in motion. 

Vuela includes four acts. Each weaves a powerful narrative: "Wood" reminds us of the strength of roots and the warmth of the human being. "Sea" invites us to sail the passions and be like water. "Death" is a way to explore human emotions from the deepest depths. "Fly" is the only way to escape without running, just letting yourself joyfully go away, an opportunity that only music, dance and emotions can offer us.

Sara Baras is the foremost exponent of flamenco ballet and one of the most prestigious and recognized Spanish representatives in the performing arts. She has had an impeccable career as a dancer, choreographer and director of her own dance company, Ballet Flamenco Sara Baras, with which she has presented 17 different shows on all five continents.
