The Knight Concert Hall is the second largest venue at the Arsht. It has state-of-the-art L-Acoustics and Mayer sound with HES Solaframe 3000 Ultrabright lighting equipment, making it perfectly suited for concerts, live and taped broadcast events, as well as corporate lectures, small meetings and wedding ceremonies. The semipermanent lighting system provides for easy load-in and design for any event.
The Knight Concert Hall is constructed with acoustics in mind. It’s built as a room within a room, thus allowing for all outside sound and vibration to remain just that—outside. This design assures the hall is completely isolated from ambient sounds and vibrations. The hall is renowned for world-class acoustics for classical music concerts, including symphony orchestras, recitals and chamber music. It is also a showcase for a wide array of other performance types such as lightly amplified pop, jazz and world music, spoken word events and even dance performances.
