En agosto de 2012, Sonia Jaramillo, cansada a causa de una enfermedad degenerativa, escogió el día y la manera en que moriría con dignidad. Durante un mes organizó almuerzos en los que conversó con su familia, preparándola para una última despedida. Almuerzo con Sonia es un recuento de las emociones de su último día, escritas y coreografiadas como las recuerda su sobrino, Federico Restrepo Jaramillo, dirigiendo la atención sobre la naturaleza íntima y personal de morir.
In August 2012, suffering from a degenerative illness, Sonia Jaramillo chose the day and method of her death. She organized lunches and spoke with her family for an entire month while preparing them for her last goodbye. Lunch With Sonia recounts the emotions of her last day, written and choreographed by her nephew Federico Restrepo Jaramillo as he remembers it.
