Jazz at Lincoln Center’s Let Freedom Swing presents outstanding jazz artists to family audiences. This concert will bring you to your feet with audience participation and moving melodies that explore jazz through the lens of American history. The show contains spirituals, Civil Rights anthems and iconic songs from Nina Simone, Duke Ellington and others.

In celebration of Jazz at Lincoln Center’s Let Freedom Swing, we encourage you to join us pre-show at 11:30 a.m. for JazzBlast and experience live jazz on the Thomson Plaza for the Arts by leading youth ensembles from throughout Miami-Dade County. Enjoy local vendors, family-friendly activities and performances by Community Arts Program (CAP) Jazz Ensemble, New World School of the Arts Jazz Band and the Jazz Collective of Young Musicians Unite.

Admission to Let Freedom Swing: From Spirituals to Swing is free. However, first-access passes are required. Get your first-access passes now!

Please note: First-access passes expire 15 minutes prior to the performance. First-access passes must be obtained for every member of your party regardless of age. There is a limit of six passes per household. Guests will be let in on a first-come, first-served basis as seats become available.
