Short Plays in Unexpected Ways

Dubbed “Miami’s equivalent to Saturday Night Live” by Broadway World, Summer Shorts transcends traditional theater by blending the hilarious with the poignant and the provocative with the purely entertaining through an evening of short plays. Celebrating 27 years of storytelling, Summer Shorts is Miami's annual must-see theater experience!

This year's Summer Shorts lineup unveils eight never-before-seen short plays that embody the transformative power of theater to challenge our views and expand our perspectives. Crafted by today's best local and national playwrights and starring a cast of South Florida's brightest actors, Summer Shorts: Flipping the Script presents a series of playful and profound stories that reveal unexpected truths.

Lauded as “entertaining,” “achingly funny” and “moment-to-moment hilarious” by Artburst Miami and Florida Theater On Stage, Summer Shorts promises a Miami experience where the unexpected becomes unforgettable.

In true Miami fashion, a limited number of VIP tickets are available. VIP access includes up-front, cabaret-style seating and a complimentary cocktail, wine or beer.
