Thrilling, all-male group Malevo takes malambo — a traditional Argentine folk dance of great virility and dexterity — beyond its limits with an avant-garde and transgressive approach that merges it with urban percussion and dance styles such as flamenco. Malevo brings live music and virtuosic dancing to the contemporary stage for an exhilarating and engaging show that is perfect for the entire family.
Malevo was named an official “Cultural Ambassador to the National Identity of Argentina.” The group has performed in Las Vegas, New York, Dubai, Paris, Cairo, St. Petersburg and Montreal. It has appeared with Latin pop star Ricky Martin and Cirque du Soleil, and held a year-long residency at Universal Studios Japan. The group also made it to the semifinals on the hit TV show America’s Got Talent. Now, Malevo is excited to take its new show across the United States.
Malevo, the "South American sensation," was created by director, choreographer and dancer Matías Jaime.
