Grammy-nominated gospel legends The Williams Brothers are blessing our stage with chart-topping songs from their Farewell Tour 2022. Three distinctive gentlemen — Doug Williams, Melvin Williams and Andre Tate — will perform their hits at the season finale of Free Gospel Sundays.

A traditional Black gospel group from Jackson, Mississippi, The Williams Brothers were formed in 1960 by Leon “Pop” Williams. They have released 42 albums, 23 of which made the Billboard charts. They have been nominated seven times collectively for the Grammy Award for Best Traditional Gospel Album. In 1999, the group was inducted into the International Gospel Music Hall of Fame. Most recently, The Williams Brothers received the 2022 Governor’s Lifetime Achievement Award from their home state.

WPLG Local 10 anchor Calvin Hughes returns as the host of Free Gospel Sundays. Dr. K of AM 1490 WMBM will start the show with hype gospel hits.
