Summer Shorts Festival CityWrights 2022

CityWrights 2022 is an opportunity for theater artists and professionals to participate in theater-related activities, including free public readings, as part of the 25th Silver Anniversary of the SUMMER SHORTS FESTIVAL, presented by City Theatre, an award-winning professional theater based at the Adrienne Arsht Center.

CityWrights includes sessions and panels with playwrights and industry leaders, and play readings by the finalists of City Theatre's National Contest for Short Playwriting. The readings will be directed by City Theatre directors and performed by South Florida actors. Participating playwrights and industry leaders will also attend Summer Shorts productions.
