We offer in-school performances, lecture/demonstrations and master classes for elementary, middle and high school students. Whether their interest is in music, dance or the dramatic arts, students work hands-on with local, national and international teaching artists in the classroom over multiple days, providing an in-depth and multi-faceted exploration of performing arts.
Teachers get the most out of Arsht Goes to School by bringing visiting artists into the classroom first and then bringing the classroom to the performance at the Arsht Center. MDCPS students can attend free performances by Miami City Ballet, Nu Deco Ensemble and Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater.
