Miami Light Project’s signature commissioning program, Here & Now has been dedicated to the professional development of South Florida-based artists since 1999, and annually produced commissioning and production support in Miami Light Project’s Biscayne Boulevard Studio, The Light Box. In 10 years, Here & Now has commissioned work from more than 65 South Florida-based artists, whose work has contributed to the growing reputation of Miami as a cultural center of international importance.
