Platinum Award-winning vocalist and songwriter Ann Hampton Callaway joins Keith Lockhart and the Boston Pops to celebrate America's grande dame of entertainment, Barbra Streisand!
Ann Hampton Callaway, one of this country's great interpreters of the American Songbook, brings her captivating sound to the Knight Concert Hall to pay tribute to the adored Barbra
Streisand. Ms. Callaway, who brings her jazzy style to the Arsht Center for a full second half of Streisand hits including "Don't Rain on My Parade," "Cry Me a River," and "I've Dreamed of You," which Callaway wrote for Streisand to sing at her wedding to
James Brolin.
To kick off the evening, Maestro Lockhart leads the orchestra in other music from Ms. Streisand's musical life (Jule Styne's "Overture to Gypsy," and Jerry Herman's "Hello Dolly") as well as a special tribute to the music of the late Marvin Hamlisch.
