BEETHOVEN Symphony No. 9 (Choral)
The 2012-13 Cleveland Orchestra Miami season closes with one of the most powerful musical works ever written, Beethoven’s magnificent Ninth Symphony — an ode to the brotherhood of all mankind. The Orchestra will be joined by a cast of internationally-acclaimed vocal soloists and talented singers of the Master Chorales of South Florida and Tampa Bay.
Beethoven is paired with Peter Lieberson’s Neruda Songs, written in tender tribute to his wife.
