KNIGHT CONCERT HALL

“Michael McDonald is blessed with a set of pipes that are recognizable from a thousand paces!” – BBC

Just in time for the holidays! Five-time Grammy Award-winning singer and songwriter Michael McDonald, whose pop music career spans more than four decades, will make his Arsht Center debut on the Knight Concert Hall stage with his spectacular “This Christmas, An Evening of Holiday & Hits” national tour.

With a distinctive and soulful baritone voice known around the world, McDonald reached superstardom in the ‘70s as a leading band member of Steely Dan and, later, The Doobie Brothers. His successful career includes collaborations with some of the world’s most prominent artists, from Van Halen to Patti LaBelle and, to this day, he remains a dynamic force in popular music. MCDONALD will deliver an unforgettable concert filled with festive holiday songs from “Through the Winters: A Christmas Album,” his hit singles “I Keep Forgettin’” and “Yah Moh B There,” and Doobie Brothers classics such as “Takin’ It to the Streets,” “It Keeps You Runnin’” and “What a Fool Believes.”
