Announcing the Winners of
the Miami Tap Pups Competition
Thank you to all of the Tap Crews that competed in the Miami Tap Pups Competition! We are pleased to announce the winner is Loose Screws from Focal Point Dance Studio.
Loose Screws stole the competition with 24% of the audience vote. Crew dancers Alyssa (13 years old), Steve (15 years old), Bianca (16 years old), Michelle (16 years old), Sarah (16 years old), and Michelle (16 years old) will perform as the Miami Tap Pups with the cast of Tap Dogs on opening night – Wednesday, June 30th. Each dancer will also receive a pair of tickets to opening night of Tap Dogs.
2nd Place Winners:
Rhythm Explosion from ABC Dance Studio took home 2nd Place. Dancers Sabeina (9 years old), Kimika (10 years old), Nicole (14 years old), Brooke (15 years old), Olivia (13 years old), Jelissa (13 years old), Jovana (13 years old), Alyssa (14 years old), and Alison (14 years old) will each receive a pair of tickets to opening night of Tap Dogs - Wednesday, June 30th .
3rd Place Winners:
Tappers R Us from the Roxy Theatre group came in 3rd Place: Dancers: Gaby (14), Priscilla (14), Jenny (14), Briana (13), Sabrina (13), Amanda (14), Nicole(12), Amelie (12), Alexa (13), Nichole(12), Jeanelle(14), Victoria (15), Andrea (15), Carla (15), and Alexa (12) will each receive a pair of tickets to opening night of Tap Dogs - Wednesday, June 30th
