| International Hispanic Theatre Festival: Por Las Tierras De Colon In Spanish with English supertitles July 28 - August 1 A famous actress and her husband embark on a tour of Latin America, but the Bogotazo, the massive riots that followed the assassination of a Colombian presidential candidate in April 1948, force them to remain inside a theater for 33 hours. The play focuses more on the couple's problems than on the national crisis, and highlights the way Latin Americans view their individual fates, and that of their continent, in a violent world. Based on real events, it won the University of Miami's 1987 Golden Letters Award. Carnival Studio Theater in the Ziff Ballet Opera House |

| Pandemonium Lost and Found Orchestra September 16 - 26 After the global success of their unique take on rhythm and physical theatre, the creators of Stomp have taken their concept to a new level: where Stomp creates rhythm with everyday objects, the Lost and Found Orchestra's Pandemonium transforms everyday objects into orchestral instruments, representing every section of a symphony orchestra, with strings, woodwind and brass replaced by musical saws, bottles, whirly toys, and traffic cones. Culminating with the human voice being added to the mix, what begins with simple melodies plucked, blown, thumped and brushed into life, ends in a complex symphonic and choral celebration.
