Join the celebration as Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, America's cultural ambassador to the world, marks its 51st anniversary of bringing African-American cultural expression and the American modern dance tradition to the world's stages

All performances include Alvin Ailey's masterpiece Revelations.

"Every American owes it to him or herself to see the Ailey [company] perform Revelations. It is an American phenomenon. I've probably seen it countless times and every time it's magical and spiritual and hopeful—everything we want ourselves to be and hope that our country will be."
