Education and Community Events

Experience the sound of Miami gospel as singers from Miami-Dade County church choirs join together to lift the community in praise under the direction of celebrated choir masters and national recording artists Minister Meachum Clarke, Dr. Deborah Brown, Professor Stephen English and Danielle Davis at this annual event presented by the Arsht Center at the Little Haiti Cultural Center.

This summer, bring your squad goals to the Adrienne Arsht Center’s musical-theater camp as we present #SQUADSOFBROADWAY. Musical-theater fans between the ages of 10 and 17 will learn to act, sing and dance while celebrating the music from some of Broadway's favorite besties, as seen in High School MusicalMean Girls and West Side Story.

Beyond the Stage

We love enhancing the learning process through the power of the performing arts! At every Jazz Roots concert, the Arsht Center gives students a FREE behind-the-scenes musical experience, access to a working sound check with major artists, a lecture and jam session, and tickets to enjoy the show. More than 15,000 high school music students have participated in the program since its creation in 2008. Click here to support arts education today.

The Arsht Center is proud to continue fulfilling its mission to bring the arts directly to YOU for free at various locations throughout the South Florida community. Here’s a look at the fun, and we look forward to welcoming everyone at the next event this season.
