The three-show 2016-17 package features weekends of concerts in January, February and March with programs including works by Bruckner, Mendelssohn, Sibelius and more.  Join us for a season full of international superstars including Nikolaj Znaider, as well as South Florida’s GRAMMY®-nominated choral orchestra ensemble, Seraphic Fire, making their Cleveland Orchestra debut performing works by Bach.

    Heart wrenching. Emotional.  Bruckner’s Seventh Symphony is a special experience that Music Director Franz Welser-Möst delivers best. His interpretation intensifies the emotional tone of the work unlike any other conductor. The program includes mezzo-soprano Jennifer Johnson Cano as well as features the highly anticipated collaboration of two world-class organizations! Miami’s vocal ensemble Seraphic Fire joins The Cleveland Orchestra for the perfection of Bach and music from three of his cantatas.

    It’s an anthem that tells the story of struggle, crisis and triumph - Sibelius’s Second Symphony. The program also features a soloist described by The Times as “spine-shudderingly good.” Renowned violinist Nikolaj Znaider performs the lush and romantic melodies of Nielsen’s Violin Concerto.
