    Founded as a radio orchestra in 1925, the Danish National Symphony Orchestra has thrived with its unique straightforward musical personality with strong roots in traditional Danish and Nordic music.

  • The Cleveland Orchestra

    The Cleveland Orchestra

    The Cleveland Orchestra presents Orff’s crowd-pleasing Carmina Burana and Bernstein’s Chichester Psalms with Nadine Sierra, soprano, Anthony Roth Costanzo, countertenor, Stephen Powell, baritone, and the Cleveland Orchestra Chorus, prepared by Cleveland Orchestra Director of Choruses Robert Porco. The Cleveland Orchestra and Chorus’s 1975 Sony recording of Carmina Burana with conductor Michael Tilson Thomas won a Grammy Award for Best Choral Performance.
