New World School of the Arts Symphony Orchestra celebrates its 30th Anniversary with a special concert featuring guest soloist, Philippe Entremont. One of the most recorded pianists in history, he has enjoyed a career spanning over 5 decades as a conductor and pianist, having worked with major orchestras around the world with such conductors as Eugene Ormandy, Leonard Bernstein, Seiji Ozawa and many more. He will join the New World School of the Arts Symphony Orchestra to perform Beethoven’s “Emperor” Concerto No. 5 E-flat major.  Stravinsky’s breathtaking Firebird Suite and Marquez’s powerful Danzon No. 2 will round out the concert under the masterful direction of Maestro Alfred Gershfeld.
