“Foster’s effect on popular music has been felt not as ripples but as tidal waves.”
“Foster is nothing less than a music-industry institution.”
Vanity Fair

David Foster is a musician, songwriter, composer, arranger and one of the most successful record producers in history — creating albums that have collectively sold in the hundreds of millions. Over his four-decade carer, Foster has won 16 Grammy Awards, including three for Producer of the Year, an Emmy Award, a Golden Globe and racked up three Oscar nominations for “Best Original Song.” He was inducted into both the U.S. and Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2010 and received his star on The Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2013.

Foster has created hit songs and award-winning gold and platinum albums for a diverse array of artists including Michael Jackson, Madonna, Stevie Wonder, Earth, Wind & Fire, Natalie Cole, Michael Bolton, Seal, Chaka Khan, Dolly Parton, Chicago, Hall & Oates, ’N Sync, Boz Scaggs, Gloria Estefan, Michael Bublé, Celine Dion, Rod Stewart, Mary J. Blige and many more. He has propelled singers who have straddled both pop and classical styles such as Andrea Bocelli and Josh Groban into the mainstream and created culture-defining soundtracks for blockbuster films such as The Bodyguard, Urban Cowboy and St. Elmo’s Fire.
