Thomson Plaza for the Arts

Brilliantly decorated with colorful terrazzo and tile surfaces, the Parker and Vann Thomson Plaza for the Arts is a large outdoor space (up to 57,000 square feet) connecting the Ziff Ballet Opera House and Knight Concert Hall across Biscayne Boulevard.

The site serves as a magnificent venue for outdoor performances and entertainment, with direct access into both Arsht Center buildings. The architecturally significant and historic Carnival Tower, one of South Florida's first art deco structures, is located on the southwest corner of the plaza.
