Thomson Plaza for the Arts

Brilliantly decorated with colorful terrazzo and tile surfaces, the Parker and Vann Thomson Plaza for the Arts is a large outdoor space and serves as a magnificent venue for outdoor performances and parties. The plaza connects both Arsht Center buildings across Biscayne Boulevard. The architecturally significant and historic Carnival Tower, one of South Florida's first art deco structures, is located on the southwest corner of the plaza.
